Tasting of numerous Médoc Crus Bourgeois in a variety of vintages (2016 for all growths, and either 2015 or 2017). The Médoc Crus Bourgeois are red wines from Bordeaux’s Left Bank that are labelled under one of the 7 prestigious Médoc appellations: Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Listrac-Médoc, Moulis-en-Médoc, Margaux, Pauillac & Saint-Estèphe. This is the last tasting in France before the Médoc Crus Bourgeois classification is published just a few days later.
On 20.02.2020, the Crus Bourgeois will reveal the properties classified as ‘Cru Bourgeois’, ‘Cru Bourgeois Supérieur’ and ‘Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel’ for the next five years.
The wines are tasted blind by an independent body in accordance with specifications and a verification plan.
